The existing sandstone cottage becomes entirely living space, full of light & air from all aspects. A discreet contemporary addition below the cottage expands the accommodation & creates an expansive terrace in the treetops for entertaining & appreciating the river views. Two hexagonal bays reflect the design of the retained original stone staircase
The palette of natural materials & simple colours works with the abundant natural light to set a calm & sophisticated mood
